Maddie Kooima

My name is Maddie Kooima. I recently graduated from UW Eau Claire with a degree in communication sciences and disorders where I plan to go on to graduate school for speech pathology. I swam for the university and continue to have fun spending my time at the pool teaching swim lessons and as an assistant swim coach in Madison. Some of my favorite memories from my time in Eau Claire come from volunteering in youth ministry at my church and my time spent as a Special Olympics swim coach. I spent this past summer in Colorado as a camp counselor where I oversaw safety and exciting outdoor activities for my campers. In my free time I enjoy hiking, watching sunrises/sunsets, and playing cribbage. I am very excited to continue working with kiddos and to work with the team at WECP!
