If a child has a special learning, developmental or health need, teachers work with families to create a “blueprint” for their educational program. This will include specific objectives that will be targeted during their child’s day in each area of development that is relevant. All teachers across the center support and work with children with special needs to ensure inclusive experiences. In addition, WECP staff collaborate daily with community providers from various organizations across Dane County to support children with various special needs.
