Hallway Waisman Early Childhood Program

Tuition Policies & Information

  • Hours of Operation: 7:30am-5:30pm, Monday – Friday.
  • WECP has 7 classroom programs in which children are grouped by age. WECP maintains its commitment to providing high quality, developmentally appropriate programming. During the summer months, the Meteor Program is offered to school‐age children who have completed kindergarten or first grade and is a separate contract from the “school-year” contract for the Comet and Rainbow Rooms only.
  • If a family decides to remove their child from the center for the summer or part of the summer, a one-time, non-refundable fee equivalent to one month tuition for your child’s current placement is assessed.
  • Upon acceptance to WECP, one month’s non-refundable deposit is due and will be carried over to your first month’s tuition payment.
  • There are no refunds for sick days, vacation days, or center closure due to pandemic (other than the newly created COVID-19 Pandemic Policy, which shares the cost between families and WECP).
  • There is tuition assistance through the OFFICE OF CAMPUS CHILDCARE. In addition, WECP offers several small scholarships based on a variety of family needs (please request an application directly from the WECP Director). Also, WECP accepts Wisconsin Shares Child Care payments.
  • Please refer to the Waisman Early Childhood Program Family Handbook and Policy Manual for more details about the tuition structures and policy.
  • For UW students, tuition assistance is available
  • Please contact WECP at 608-263-5760 if you would like to request a scholarship application (this is separate from tuition assistance for UW Madison Students).
